The Youth Steering Group is an initiative under the Ghana Science & Tech Explorer Prize (GSTEP) Challenge where young people (GSTEP Ambassadors) are given the opportunity to make an impact in their communities while gaining a range of social and technical skills.
The programme offers GSTEP Ambassadors an exciting opportunity to participate in fun training, focused on building leadership, career and entrepreneurship skills to enable them to connect, inspire and promote the benefits of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to fellow Ghanaian youth.
We are looking for l students between the ages of 14 – 18 in schools in either the Greater Accra or Ashanti Regions to develop practical STEM skills and products that benefit their local communities. This three-year programme promotes STEM and Entrepreneurship among students using challenges and competitions in various formats and complexities.
